Announcement: The Philosopher’s Game

In The Philosopher's Game on January 16, 2012 at 9:00 am

The Temple of Satan has been opened.  A false messianic figure rises in the Middle East.  A silent ecological disaster creeps across a world slowly rotting from within.  The center must hold, but Washington is too mired in corruption to react.  Enter the Philosopher’s Game: an ancient secret meant to heal the divorce between science and faith—and perhaps save humanity from itself.

Join an Iraqi Special Forces Commander, a brilliant theoretical physicist, and the cellist, Max Sinclair, in this ripped-from-the-headlines thriller as they race against time to solve the riddle of the Philosopher’s Game.  But think fast—the future is balanced on a razor.

Today, I’m excited to announce that the first draft of The Philosopher’s Game is DONE!  What does that mean, you ask?  When can you hold the next installment of the Max Sinclair trilogy in your hot little hands?

Well, for the first question, it means that now I begin the enviable process of cleaning up all the wrong notes littered throughout the manuscript.  Once I’m done with that, I’ll send it off to my editor and we’ll be working on her schedule.  That’s the point when I’ll have an announcement for a release date–and the earliest date it can be shipped to hot hands everywhere, little and big.

For now, stay tuned.  I’ll be posting excerpts soon!

(I’m excited.  Can ya tell?)

  1. Congratulations, David! Now the hard work begins!

  2. Looking forward to reading it! Just tweeted as well.

  3. Go David.

  4. It’s going to be great!

  5. That’s great, David! Nothing like getting to the end of a long road. Best of luck with it.

  6. You know it. By the way, I was disappointed to hear it wasn’t you playing cello on that track. 😉 (Better start practicing Mr. Flynn.)

  7. Yay!!!!!!!!
